The Junior Leader Program is OPEN for Summer 2024!

If you are a high-school student looking for a fun engaging volunteer experience join Active Minds Junior Leader program! Junior Leaders work alongside camp leaders helping to run STEM-based activities in our hands-on camp environment. 

What we are looking for:

Enthusiastic, responsible high school students with an interest in STEM and an eagerness to share this interest with kids! Junior Leaders should have experience or interest in working with kids.

Flexible service hours throughout July and August. Preferred support during camps from 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

What your summer would look like:

You would be assisting the Camp Leaders to set-up and run fun activities, as well as helping to supervise the campers. Leaders will gain valuable volunteer experience as well as familiarity in the university setting. This program gives students experience with teaching while getting kids excited about science. Additionally, you would meet like-minded Junior Leaders and get to work and bond with our amazing team and awesome campers!
