New TekX program welcomes first cohort of high school students

The Technology Exploration (TekX) program is a collaboration with the College of New Caledonia and School District 57 providing students in Grades 11 and 12 with an opportunity to explore technology courses and earn post-secondary credits while still in high school.

The puck does not stop here

From being presented with the problem to designing and building their devices, secondary school students from across the region spent months preparing to launch their innovative ideas into action for the School of Engineering's first High School Design Competition.

Dual credit TekX program introduces high school students to post-secondary education

The TekX program will provide Grade 11 students with the opportunity to explore career pathways in the rapidly growing technology sector and earn post-secondary credits while still in high school.

Go PHYS Girl

Discover the forces shaping tomorrow's greatest inventions, most groundbreaking solutions, and transformative societal advancements! Go Physics Girl is a free event for girls and non-binary youth in Grades 7–10 to explore the exciting world of physics and its applications. Connect with women studying physics, discover inspiring careers in the field, and engage in hands-on activities that bring the wonders of physics to life.

Date: Saturday, March 1, 2025
Time: 9am - 1pm (day of registration opens 8:45am)
Location: UNBC Prince George campus - Starts at Teaching Lab Lobby - Building 8 (Map 2025)
Cost: Free including pizza lunch
