From being presented with the problem to designing and building their devices, secondary school students from across the region spent months preparing to launch their innovative ideas into action for the School of Engineering's first High School Design Competition.

Dual credit TekX program introduces high school students to post-secondary education

The TekX program will provide Grade 11 students with the opportunity to explore career pathways in the rapidly growing technology sector and earn post-secondary credits while still in high school.

Come spend your Saturday afternoons with our computer scientist camp leader, Elizabeth, and learn to code while making some very fun projects.

Active Minds Computer Science Club is a 5-day crash course on programming, robotics, game design and more! Participants will get to play with Micro:Bits, MakeCode:Arcade and Lego Mindstorms through the weeks and learn the ins and outs of computers.

Eligibility

The Computer Science Club is designed for children from ages 9 to 12. If your child is turning 9 this calendar year, they are eligible to register.
