Biography
I graduated from the UNBC Nursing program in 2011 and have worked mainly in labour, delivery, and neonatal intensive care. I completed my BCIT Perinatal Specialty Certification in 2012 and became a Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor in 2015.

Valerie Sokolowski has been a faculty member of the School of Nursing since 2023. She received her LPN diploma in 2002 and worked in Burns Lake hospital full-time as she upgraded to get her BN from Athabasca University.

Lauren Irving is a family nurse practitioner in Prince George, BC. Lauren works in a busy primary care clinic called Central Interior Native Health Society where she provides longitudinal primary care in a team based care setting.
