Biography

Kristine Rowswell is a Lecturer with the School of Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She lives, plays, and works on the traditional unceded territory of the Lheidli T'enneh, also known as Prince George. She is a family nurse practitioner with a focus area in pulmonary medicine, and practices both in the community outpatient setting and the inpatient setting. She has previously worked in primary care and has experience working in infectious disease including care of patients living with HIV and hepatitis C.

Research and Expertise

Kristine's research interests include improving our understanding of patient help-seeking patterns for and within healthcare, particularly for people from vulnerable groups or communities.
