ITS Information Notice: Action Required - Zoom Software Policy
Zoom will implement a new Software Lifecycle policy under which client versions lower than a minimum version will be blocked, and they will enforce a minimum version on a quarterly schedule – the first weekend of November, February, May & August. Users who are running an end-of-life version after November 5th, will not be able to join meetings via Zoom Client and will be prompted to update, or join from the Web browser.
This policy will affect the following products on the following dates:
