Convocation Ceremonies - Main Campus (Prince George, BC) 

UNBC Parking is complimentary on Convocation Day for graduands and their guests in Lots A, B, and C. From these lots, graduands and their guests will have to walk either to Campus to prepare and get into processional line, or to be seated as a guest at the Northern Sport Centre for a Ceremony.

Please plan to arrive 60 minutes prior to the Ceremony to allow plenty of time to find parking, walk from the parking lot to the Northern Sport Centre, check-in flowers and/or strollers, and have your ticket(s) scanned before finding seating. 

Since available parking is limited, carpooling is recommended. Please arrive early and respect the traffic control personnel. 

The Northern Sport Centre has a drop off loop in the front of the building for guest(s) who require accommodation for mobility challenges.  Accessibility & VIP parking spaces are located at the Northern Sport Centre. Only vehicles displaying an appropriate Sparc or VIP Parking Pass will be permitted to park in the Northern Sport Centre parking lot. Grads can register for a parking pass by contacting the Convocation Office.

Parking in unauthorized areas i.e. Reserved Parking - first row of parking lots, Fire Lane, Loading Zone, and Accessibility Parking, is subject to parking fines and possible towing.
