Communicable disease plan

The health and safety of the UNBC community is of utmost importance. We are here to support you as you attend or teach face-to-face classes, conduct your research, or work on campus in a safe and effective manner.

UNBC’s Communicable Disease Plan highlights ongoing measures UNBC is taking to prevent the spread of all communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, H1N1, SARS, influenza, measles and monkeypox.

Mask requirements at UNBC campuses and facilities

Masks are not required at our campuses and worksites but we strongly recommend that you continue to wear masks in all indoor public areas, including classrooms, laboratories, lobbies, hallways, stairwells and elevators. We also encourage you to be thoughtful and respectful of others’ choices in this regard.
