At the end of each winter semester, the NRES Institute hosts the presentation of NRES-related undergraduate thesis presentations (e.g., NRES 430). An undergraduate thesis offers students substantial research experience, which may be helpful for proceeding to postgraduate studies. The course requirements include conducting supervised research, writing a thesis, and presenting the results orally -- it is the oral presentations that the Institute sponsors.
