The Natural Resources and Environmental Studies Institute needs your support!

Unexpected changes to the Institute’s funding model in recent years have resulted in a net loss of operating income. The Institute’s activities, such as the Friday colloquium presentation series, are in jeopardy.  

To address the shortfall, UNBC and the NRESi are encouraging community members to step up and make sustaining and legacy donations. In order for the Institute to operate now and in the future, donations can be split 50:50 between the Annual Operating Fund and the NRESi Endowment Fund.

Donations greater than $10 are tax-deductible.

UNBC faculty and staff can contribute through biweekly payroll deductions by completing the Payroll Deduction Form 2021.

All supporters can contribute online by credit-card through the Online Donation Form (use the drag-down menu to select the NRES Institute) with a one-time gift or monthly donations.
