Student-centred programs

The School of Engineering boasts exceptional student-instructor ratios that allow for every student to play a pivotal role in their cohort. This student-centred approach ensures that engineering is for everyone.

Experiential Learning and Co-operative Education (Co-op)

The dynamic coursework in our programs allow students to take a hands-on approach to engineering, including access to state-of-the-art labs and research opportunities. Engineering's undergraduate programs culminate in a senior capstone project, which allows student teams to design real-world solutions to challenges facing communities in the region and across the province.

UNBC also offers Engineering students optional co-op work terms, which provide real-world work experience and opportunities to network with professionals in industry. For more information visit the Co-operative Education page.

Student Code of Ethics

Students in UNBC's School of Engineering abide by a Code of Ethics. This document was developed by Engineering students under the supervision of faculty and is updated periodically.
