Design Challenge Details

At the inaugural competition, the puck stops here with a challenge to design an apparatus that can shoot a hockey puck toward a target.

Requirements

  • The apparatus will be powered by a falling sandbag and must have a maximum footprint of 1 metre x 1 metre. Teams will shoot in two rounds featuring two different scoring trials.
  • Teams of 2-4, between Grades 10-12, are invited to participate. Teams of mixed grades are permitted.
  • No registration required. Participating teams will receive access to funds to complete their design for the competition.
