Facility Closes due to COVID-19
As of 11:00pm Monday, March 16, 2020, the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre will be closed until further notice.
The Northern Sport Centre Ltd. Board of Directors (a partnership between the City of Prince George and UNBC) has decided it is in the public interest to close the facility,. This is based on the nature of activities that take place there. It will also promote social distancing in response to Covid-19.
This decision aligns with the closure of a number of other recreational facilities in Prince George.
What this means for our members:
- Members who have paid their membership in full will receive a credit on their account. It will be calculated based on our closing to re-opening dates.

- If you wish to place your membership on hold or cancel, email nsc-operations@unbc.ca. Include your full name, address and all applicable household members.
Holds are being processed up to three months at this time. You have the option of returning early from a hold early if we resume operations. A pro-rated payment amount may be required upon return.
Cancellations are being honoured as of March 16, 2020. Members will be asked to return their parking permits when we re-open. Please allow 3-4 weeks for applicable refunds to be processed.
