Valemount
Valemount is in a naturally stunning location (with a community slogan of “Let the Mountains Move You”) and has abundant outdoor recreation opportunities, but also has a vibrant arts scene and community events occurring throughout the year. Valemount is on the traditional Territory of the Simpcw First Nation.
The Valemount Community Health Centre provides a wide range of services. Physicians in Valemount work closely with physicians in nearby McBride, to support one another, and learners in one community may have opportunities to gain experience in the other.
Valemount is situated in a mountain valley between three ranges: the Rocky, Monashee and Cariboo Mountain ranges.
