All notices are also posted on the myUNBC Student Portal (Ellucian Experience) under resources, gounbc.sharepoint.com for Employees, support.unbc.ca and on unbc.ca /its. Please see one of these locations for maintenance notices.
Tuesday, January 14th || Time: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
Server upgrade- Short Banner disruptions are expected.
- Banner Admin Pages – BANPROD, BPREPROD, BQAWEEK
- UNBC Online Services (Student, Alumni and Employee)
- UNBC Password Management Services
- UNBC Online Phone List
- FAST – fast.unbc.ca
- Argos Reports – reports.unbc.ca
Thursday, January 16th || Time: 10:30pm
Windows Workstation patching- (all desktops and laptops running Windows)
- Security Updates are available to install from Tuesday, January 14th at 12:30pm
- Please follow restart instructions prior to the Thursday, January 16th at 10:30pm, when restarts will occur automatically
Thursday, January 16th || Time: 10:00pm – 11:00pm
Phone system reboot
- Desk phones, softphones and voicemail system affected. No calls in or out during that duration.
- Extreme Wireless, our wireless authentication service, will be doing maintenance on their systems.
- Users that log into Wi-Fi under the following will not be able to log in or will be disconnected
- UNBC-PCG
- UNBC-Guest
- UNBC-RESNET
Sunday, January 19th || Time: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
Wi-Fi Maintenance
UNBC and Eduroam networks are not affected by this maintenance.
