ITS Information Notice:Phone System Issue - Avaya desk phones and softphones (Avaya Workplace)

UNBC is currently experiencing phone system issues in multiple buildings, which have affected the functionality of our Avaya desk phones and softphones (Avaya Workplace). Users are currently experiencing no dial tones, and trouble hearing on active calls.

Current Buildings affected:

  • Building 3 (Charles J McCaffray Hall)
  • Building 4 (Research Laboratory)
  • Building 8 (Teaching Laboratory)

ITS is aware of the issue and we are actively working on fixing this problem, at this time we do not have an ETA for resolution. Please watch announcements for further updates.
