How to request a refund

In order to process a refund, UNBC requires a student refund request form to be completed and sent back to us from your UNBC Student email address. We cannot process a refund without a student refund request form.  

If you would like to receive your refund via direct deposit:

  • Please complete and return the direct deposit authorization form and attach a copy of a void cheque/direct deposit form from your financial institution.
  • These documents must be sent from your UNBC student email address.

If you would like a cheque mailed to you:

Please email the completed documents to refunds@unbc.ca.

Once we have received all three documents from your UNBC email address (student refund request form, direct deposit authorization form, and void cheque/direct deposit form from bank), the Finance department will review your account and issue a refund.

If you have lost access to your student account, please email IT Services at support@unbc.ca or call 250-960-5321 and they can assist with restoring your access.


International student refunds

If you are an international student that is no longer able to attend UNBC, please see the International Website for more information about requesting a refund.

If you are a current international student attending UNBC and would like a refund, please submit a student refund request form to refunds@unbc.ca
