Biography
Dr. Tara Lynne Clapp is Chair of the School of Planning and Sustainability at the University of Northern British Columbia. Her research interests are in rural and northern sustainability and resilience, particularly in water and watersheds, and housing and development.

I am a social geographer with two broad areas of research interest that connect in many ways and often overlap: Guatemala/Violence/Development/Justice and Migration/Transnationalism/Refugee Studies.

Dr. Wheate's interests cover the application of remote sensing and GIS across the spectrum of NRES (Natural Resource and Environmental Studies) research areas.
