North Cariboo Community Campus

North Cariboo Community Campus

The North Cariboo Community campus officially opened its doors in 2005 as a shared space for UNBC and CNC. The campus uses geothermal heating and cooling to reduce its carbon footprint and the building was constructed using local wood.

The South-Central campus in Quesnel is situated on the traditional territory of the Lhtako Dené (Red Bluff Band), Nazko, Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation (Kluskus Band), and ?Esdilagh First Nations (formerly Alexandria Band). Lhtako Dené, Nazko, and Lhoosk’uz Dené are Dakelh First Nations, and ?Esdilagh is a member of the Tŝilhqot'in Nation.
