Quesnel
The Quesnel community is located in the central interior of British Columbia, on the traditional territories of the Lhtako Dené, Nazko, ?Esdilagh, and Lhoosk'uz Dené. The City of Quesnel is located nearly evenly between the cities of Prince George and Williams Lake at the confluence of the Fraser and Quesnel Rivers. It serves as one of the largest urban centers between Kamloops and Prince George.
In the area, people are able to indulge in many outdoor activities from skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter, to golfing, fishing, and hiking in the summer. In addition to beautiful natural surroundings, Quesnel offers a great selection of cafes, restaurants, and shops for days spent in town.
From the South-Central campus, students can take a five-minute walk to the Recreation Centre or join the 12 km river walk trail network. The campus is a 15-minute walk to Quesnel’s downtown. The town has affordable living and accommodation, as well as short commuting times to the campus or any city amenities.
