In our first entry in Terrace’s iconic Riverboat Days Parade, UNBC-NW won third prize in the commercial category.

With lots of help from friends and families, the float portrayed our various programs, with banners emphasizing “You can get your UNBC degree in Terrace!” Volunteers in academic robes walked alongside the float, passing out candies, pencils, and information sheets rolled up like diplomas. Thank-you to Bandstra Transportation Ltd. for donating use of their flatbed truck and driver.
