May 1-6 BIOL 498 Bryology
- Identifying and understanding mosses and liverworts, in a field-school format at the historic North Pacific Cannery, Port Edward
- First-year biology a pre-requisite; $340 course fee in addition to tuition (some financial assistance available to full-time students)

May 8-12 FNST/WMST 306 Indigenous Women: Perspectives
- Exploring global themes on the impacts of colonialism and social struggle as seen through the eyes of women
- Prerequisite: FNST 100 or WMST 100 or permission of instructor
- UNBC Terrace Campus, video-conferenced from Quesnel; Instructor: Titi Kunkel
May 12-14, 26-28, and June 9-11 BIOL 350 Ethnobotany
- The traditional uses of plants, with an emphasis on Indigenous practices in the Skeena region and northern BC
- Weekends at the Terrace Campus, with one or more local field trips

May 29-June 2 ENGL 271 Creative Writing
- Expand your creative path through poetry, fiction, storytelling or creative non-fiction
- Workshop / field school setting at the historic North Pacific Cannery, Port Edward
- No prerequisites; $280 course fee in addition to tuition

June 19-26 FNST 304 Indigenous Environmental Philosophy
- Exploring Indigenous philosophy, knowledge and issues in a seminar format
- Face to face at UNBC’s Terrace Campus, upper division standing (60 credit hours) a prerequisite

July 4, 6, 20, 24, 27, August 8 and 10 HIST 191 World History Since 1550
- Imperialism, colonialism and globalization are strong themes in this course, the second of three core courses required for History majors
- Face to face at UNBC’s Terrace Campus, available by video to other locations
- No prerequisites; Instructor: Maureen Atkinson
August 23 – September 1 BIOL 301 Systematic Botany
- Identifying and classifying vascular plants, with an emphasis on those of northwestern BC
- Face to face laboratory instruction at Northwest Community College, with local field trips and an extended excursion to the Skeena River Estuary
- First-year biology a prerequisite; Instructor: Darwyn Coxson
