Global and International Studies Professor to take up Research-in-Residence Fellowship at University of Illinois
Professor Paul Bowles, the Acting Chair of the Department of Global and International Studies, will be a Research Fellow in residence at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana from February 25 to March 15, 2018. Dr. Bowles will be one of six Fellows, and one of only two Canadians (the others being from Denmark, the UK, Germany, and Hungary) invited to spend research time at Illinois and to present at a Symposium on ‘The Other Border’, analysing aspects of the Canada-U.S. border, organised by the University of Illinois’s International Forum for U.S. Studies.
