Environmental and Sustainability Studies has transfer arrangements / agreements with colleges in British Columbia. These agreements allow students who are in good standing and have completed the required courses at the colleges to move directly into the BA Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Students will know what they have credit for and what they have to complete to receive the BA Environmental and Sustainability Studies.
If you don’t see your college listed, get in touch, we will always work to articulate courses to allow transfer students to complete the BA Environmental and Sustainability Studies as easily as possible.
Okanagan College
UNBC has an agreement with Okanagan College that allows students who have completed a two-year degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies to come to UNBC and complete a BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies in two years. This has been a successful program and we look forward to welcoming more OC students in the future!
Students take several core courses and must select an Area of Specialization from the following:
- Global Environmental Studies
- Natural Resources Management
- Communities and Environmental Citizenship
- Indigenous Perspectives
Specific course choices depend upon the Area of Specialization chosen.
