The Koopmans siblings make up six of UNBC's 16,000-strong alumni. Internship opportunity
Recent Bachelor of Arts in Political Science graduate Sarah Ash will experience what it's like to work in a ministry office, a party caucus office, and a Member of the Legislative Assembly’s constituency office through the B.C. Legislative Internship Program in 2023.
Mother-daughter duo finds shared experience empowering
The Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program afforded recent graduate Brooke Clarabut and her mom Amanda Weir the unique opportunity to support each other on their educational journeys towards nursing degrees. They appreciated being able to pursue degrees in their hometown of Terrace and are now working in the community at Mills Memorial Hospital.

This month the 16,000th UNBC graduate will cross the stage at Convocation. The University is recognizing the milestone with the #UNBCPayItForward Campaign to help support the next 16,000 graduates.

Customized Timberwolves Indigenous jerseys now available
The UNBC Timberwolves, have announced the creation and activation of an online shop, where anyone, anywhere can order a completely customizable jersey, featuring the art and design of Gitxsan artist, Trevor Angus. One hundred percent of the net proceeds will be split between Lheidli T’enneh youth programming, and Indigenous student-athlete awards.
Off to Oxford
Aaron Larsen's interest in witch trials was piqued during an undergraduate history class at UNBC. A three-time UNBC graduate, Larsen will soon begin his doctoral studies examining witch trials in Switzerland at the University of Oxford.
