The University of Northern British Columbia is partnering with theMinistry of Children and Family Development and Carrier Sekani FamilyServices to provide aboriginal social workers with the opportunity gaina specialization in child welfare.

The Government of BC reports that aboriginal children make up 76% of the northern children in the care of the Ministry.
