Nearly 50 of the top Grade 12 students from central BC will beparticipating in an Academic Achievers event at UNBC tomorrow, which isbeing held to reward them for their academic achievements to date.Students are attending from Valemount, McBride, and Prince Georgesecondary schools: PGSS, College Heights, DP Todd, Duchess Park, andKelly Road.

Organized by School District #57 and UNBC, the annual AcademicAchievers event is open to students who achieved straight A’s (or allA’s and one B) during grade 11. The students will spend the afternoonat UNBC, in advance of an awards ceremony that will be hosted by UNBCPresident Don Cozzetto and School District Superintendent Brian Pepper.
