The University of Northern British Columbia Student Success Centres will be hosting a Career Fair for students and the general public on Wednesday, March 15th. The event will run from 10am - 4pm and consist of displays in the Agora. Nearly 40 booths will be set up from government ministries, local businesses, banks, financial advisors, health service agencies, and forest companies.

Starting on Monday, March 6th, the Counselling Centre is presenting a number of career panels, made up of faculty presenters, that will provide students from different degree programs with employment options:

March 6 Biology, Environmental Studies, Forestry, Geography, Resource Recreation and Tourism
March 7 Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, International Studies
March 8 English, First Nations Studies, History, Northern Studies, Women's Studies
March 9 Community Health, Education, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work
March 13 Accounting, Finance, General Business, International Business, Marketing
March 14 Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics

The career panels are targeted to UNBC students but are open to anyone in the community. They all begin at 6pm and will be in Room 5-125 (located on the first floor of the Library building).
