The University of Northern British Columbia will be offering a total of eight courses in Terrace in the Winter semester, which will begin on January 6th.

The offerings include three graduate level courses in the University's Education and Community Health programs, and the following undergraduate courses:

Environmental Studies 311

Northern Perspectives, Monday mornings

Psychology 330

Cognition, Thursday evenings

Women's Studies 304

Contemporary Women's Writing, Tuesday evenings

First Nations Studies 420

Developing Language Materials Saturday mornings

History 400

Aboriginal Peoples in Canada Tuesday evenings

In addition to the above courses, most of which will be offered by face-to-face teaching, Nisga'a language and culture courses will be made available by the Wilp Wilxo-oskwhl Nisga'a in Terrace.

Students in Terrace with access to the World Wide Web will also be able to take four UNBC English courses in January. The courses will mark the first time UNBC has made courses available on the Internet.
