May 5th : Welcome to UNBC New Student Booth

Kick off your UNBC journey by visiting the New Student Booth in the Winter Garden! Our friendly UNBC Student Ambassadors will be there to welcome you, answer your questions, and hand out welcome packages filled with helpful info and fun swag. Whether you need directions, advice, or just a friendly face—stop by and say hello!

May 5th : Campus Tours

Explore your new campus with a guided UNBC Campus Tour! Join our Student Ambassadors at 12:00 PM in the Winter Garden for a walk through key buildings, student spaces, and must-know spots. It’s the perfect way to get familiar with UNBC and ask any questions along the way!

May 5th : Games, Movie & Pizza Night

Join us for a fun night of games, a movie, and free pizza as we welcome new students to UNBC! It’s a great chance to relax, meet new friends, and enjoy some downtime. Enjoy a chill evening with board games, a movie screening, and of course—free pizza! Whether you’re looking to meet people, enjoy some good food, or just have fun, this event has something for everyone.

May 5th : Apply for Your Social Insurance Number (SIN)- in person 

Service Canada will be at UNBC on Monday, May 5th, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. They will have a table in front of the International Office (Room 7-148) to assist you in applying for your Social Insurance Number (SIN). International students are required to bring an original, valid study permit and passport.

May 5th : International Student Orientation – in person 

Meet the International Team and learn about the services we offer on Monday, May 5th, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the 5-140E Learning Commons Event Space. We will discuss study permit requirements and what you need to know about working, living, and studying at UNBC.

Fall 2025 Orientation

Get Ready! The UNBC Fall Orientation 2025 is a vibrant and welcoming event designed to introduce new students to the unique community and academic environment at UNBC. The Orientation brings together first-year students, faculty, staff, and current students for a series of engaging activities, informative sessions, and networking opportunities.
