In addition to their academic workload in the classroom, students in UNBC’s Nursing Club also found time for philanthropic activities during the 2017-18 school year.

The club, comprised of students in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program at the Prince George campus, raised $15,000 from bake sales, auction events, and community engagement social evenings. 

The students turned around and donated those funds back to the nursing lab for equipment, to a nursing student bursary for financial support, and to the School of Nursing Class of 2018 for pinning ceremony and reception costs.

The club appreciates the generous support it received from Prince George businesses and organizations.
