International students applying to UNBC must satisfy our English language requirements before commencing studies.

Applicants stating their first language is English from one of the countries listed in the exemption lists below, means the English language requirement will normally be waived. 

Please note: UNBC reserves the right to request proof of language proficiency by means of a recognized language proficiency score report at any point in the application process. This list is subject to change at the discretion of UNBC.
