Drs. Fiona MacDonald and Gary Wilson from Political Science recently published an op-ed in the Citizen about young voters and the recent Canadian election.
"Last month’s federal election bucked a recent trend of increases in voter turnout, with the total dipping below 60 per cent for the first time since 2008." - MacDonald and Wilson provide reasons why, and make suggestions to increase turnout in years to come.
