The first two days of the workshop will be the main grant development workshop, focusing on general grant development techniques, while the third day will include two additional advanced focused sessions. Participants who would like to attend the main workshop should be available for all sessions on August 13th and 14th but researchers can sign up for the focused sessions on August 15th individually. 

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Dawn McArthur, Director, Research and Technology Development, BC Children's Hospital Research Institute. Light refreshments will be provided (participants will be responsible for their own lunch). 

Each session can accommodate a maximum of 40 participants. UNBC faculty, research staff, and postdoctoral fellows, as well as Northern Health and BC Cancer Agency researchers are welcome to participate. Graduate students are also welcome to register; however, if space is limited, priority will be given to faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and clinician scientists.
