School of Education Lecturer Glen Thielmann has earned plaudits for how he engages all learners, gives students the chance to take their lead in their learning and his in-depth knowledge of course content. Recently he received the Teacher Educator award from the Association of BC Deans of Education for his work with UNBC and School District 57.

Dr. Margo Greenwood has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada (O.C.). The award honours individuals from across the country who have made extraordinary contributions to the nation.

Aaron Larsen's interest in witch trials was piqued during an undergraduate history class at UNBC. A three-time UNBC graduate, Larsen will soon begin his doctoral studies examining witch trials in Switzerland at the University of Oxford.
