Student Job Board
The UNBC Student Career Centre has updated the employer job posting request process. This new streamlined process requires employers to complete only the request form below, with no further actions.
There is a review and approval process for job postings. If your job posting is approved, it will be posted within one working day. If your posting is denied, you will be notified by email.
Note: Posting requests will be denied if determined to be suspicious in nature or incomplete.

Hosting a Booth at the UNBC Prince George Campus
Set up a booth in high-traffic areas on campus to engage with students, distribute information, and collect resumes. This is an excellent way for you to increase your visibility and interact informally with potential candidates throughout the day.
Booth requests must be submitted a minimum of three (3) weeks before the event to allow sufficient time for coordination and promotion.
Employer Information Sessions
These sessions provide an ideal platform for sharing your company's values, hiring processes, and potential career paths. To accommodate diverse student schedules, these presentations can be arranged during the day or evening and offered both in-person and virtually. Enhance attendance and interaction by offering refreshments—options include a catered lunch or dinner for comprehensive sessions, or light snacks for shorter gatherings. If you

2024-2025 UNBC Career Fairs
We are excited to announce the 2024 - 2025 Career Fairs scheduled for November 14, 2024, and March 5, 2025. These large-scale events provide an excellent opportunity to meet a wide range of students and alumni, discuss career opportunities, and conduct on-the-spot interviews.
Registration will be opening by the end of July, if you would like to be added to invite list please email careerfair@unbc.ca.
Industry Nights
Participate in our Industry Nights, designed as targeted networking evenings that bring together students and alumni from specific faculties and professionals from corresponding industries. These events are structured to include a panel discussion, where industry leaders share insights and experiences, followed by networking opportunities and tabling sessions to facilitate direct interactions with students. This format is ideal for building meaningful connections, discussing industry trends, and scouting future talent in a focused setting. Light refreshments will be provided to create a welcoming atmosphere and encourage engagement throughout the evening. Dates to be determined in collaboration with the faculties. Orientation
In addition to traditional Industry Nights and Career Fairs, UNBC Career Centre is excited to introduce a new dimension of partnership through our Orientation sponsorship program. This opportunity allows industry partners to connect with students right at the start of their academic journey during new student Orientation, while continuing to engage throughout the year via Career Centre activities. Details to come.
Event Promotion
If you are planning a recruitment event or an information session about careers in your field or industry and would like to promote it to UNBC students and alumni, we can feature your event on the Career Centre event calendar, listing on the Career Centre Newsletter and the Career Centre Social Accounts.
Please be aware that a lead time of three weeks is required, for inclusion in the Newsletter we must receive the information by the 22nd of the month prior to publication on the 1st of the month. Note that this service does not include event coordination or organization.
