Biography

Kealin McCabe has been the Research and Learning Services Librarian at UNBC since 2008. Kealin has an EdD from the University of British Columbia (2024) and has a Master of Library and Information Studies from Western University (2008).

Research and Expertise

My research focuses on ableism and ableism in higher education. My research challenges and disrupts normative understandings of what it means to be a “good academic” by exploring ableist representations and assumptions present in collective agreements and institutional policies.
