Biography

Richard Krehbiel is an Adjunct Professor in the University of Northern British Columbia's School of Environmental Planning. Rick retired from teaching environmental and aboriginal law courses in 2015 but continues to support the program through advisory services, guest lectures and project work in those areas.His interests focus on First Nation governance as well as Indigenous land and resource use and planning, BC treaty negotiations and western Canada history and folklore. He is currently privately engaged in First Nations governance and policy development, ratification of First Nation land codes under the Framework Agreement on First Nations Land Management and various heritage preservation and restoration projects and organizations.
