Dr. Kong is a postdoctoral fellow at McMaster University. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University and brings a wealth of knowledge in the social and emotional development of children and young adults in diverse socio-cultural contexts. Her strong background in this area and her international collaborations investigating various aspects of well-being, including pro-environmental behaviours and maternal involvement during COVID-19, make her a valuable addition to our department and university. At UNBC, Dr. Kong aims to expand her cross-cultural research to include Indigenous and rural-urban populations in Canada. We are thrilled about the potential benefits her research could bring to our community.
