Biography

My research uses a combination of ecological, molecular and genomic methods to answer fundamental evolutionary questions at multiple spatial and temporal scales. Specifically, I am interested in better understanding the processes and mechanisms driving and maintaining hybridization and co-evolution. My work spans systematics, population genetics, community and landscape genomics, biodiversity, and ecology. Currently, we focus on the orchid genus Platanthera but we have a number of other projects, species, and interests.
