Biography

Dr. Ben Kei Daniel is Professor specializing in Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), Research Methodologies, and Educational Technology. Dr Daniel holds a joint PhD in Educational Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED) from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He has supervised or co-supervised over 50 graduate students. His current research focuses on developing and evaluating advanced learning technologies using AI and pioneering strategies for teaching research methods. His contributions have significantly enhanced the pedagogy of research methods, ensuring reliable, valid, and trustworthy research outcomes.

At UNBC, Dr Daniel oversees CTLT's operational and strategic directions. Before joining UNBC, Dr Daniel spent 11 years as an academic/faculty developer, Full Professor and Head (Chair) of the Department of Higher Education Development Centre at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
