Biography

Dr. Casperson received his Ph.D. and M.Math. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, and his B.Sc. in Mathematical Physics from Simon Fraser University. His research areas include computational algebra, Galois theory, universal algebra, and programming language semantics. He has a strong interest in both formal and natural languages; including Java, Aldor, Standard ML, Haskell, C++, French and Japanese.
