Biography
Crystal Braun is the Administrative Assistant for the Research Ethics Board (REB) in the Office of Research and Innovation at UNBC, bringing with her a broad range of experience spanning Natural Resources, Post-Secondary Education, Family Support Work and Facilitation. In addition to providing administrative support, she has also facilitated for the Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum (PVPC) for various departments at UNBC. Born in the Shuswap (Secwepemc) region of the Okanagan and raised in the southern Dakelh/Carrier-speaking Cariboo, Crystal has resided in Lheidli T’enneh territory of the Prince George District for nearly 20 years. With the BC central interior as home, she is grateful for the opportunity to contribute over four decades of community and region-based awareness to the role while supporting research activity through UNBC.
