A tentative collective agreement has been reached between the University of Northern British Columbia and CUPE Local 3799, which represents approximately 315 support staff working at the institution.

The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by the union and its members, and by the University’s Board of Governors. The agreement, which covers the period from July 1 2022 to June 30 2025, was reached under the Province’s Shared Recovery Mandate. More details will be available once the agreement is ratified by both parties.
