We are ready for you and we want to welcome you to UNBC this year with a little support.
You could be eligible to receive $300 towards your Fall 2024 or Winter 2025 semester just by registering for your courses early. Open to all new and returning students – undergraduate and graduate – UNBC is awarding 130 tuition waivers between August 8 and August 30.
Registering for the Fall 2024/Winter 2025 academic year from now until August 30 automatically qualifies you for the draw. Two separate draws will be held with 30 waivers per draw going to new students and at least 30 waivers to returning students.

Do you still have to register? Increase your chances at receiving the $300 credit by registering for your courses before the first draw date. Register for courses here.

- Students who have registered on or before August 8 at 4 p.m. (PT) will be eligible for Draw 1.
- Students who have registered on or before August 30 at 4 p.m. (PT) will be eligible for Draw 2 (except for the winners from Draw 1).
*If your tuition is waived or covered, you will be offered a $300 UNBC Bookstore gift card as an alternative to the tuition credit. Tuition credit cannot be transferred to another student.
Criteria
The waiver is available to UNBC students who have active student status and who register in at least three (3) credits for either Fall 2024 or Winter 2025.
Auditing, Exchange and Dual Credit Students are exempt from the tuition draw.
Additional Details
- Students can only win one $300 waiver or gift card. If a student wins in Draw 1, they will be ineligible from future draws.
- Winners who are starting the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program will be awarded a $300 UNBC Bookstore gift card automatically. We are unable to offer/apply a tuition waiver for tuition charges at partner institutions.
