The Office of Equity and Inclusion is pleased to present the second session of the EDIA Speakers Series. Ji-Youn Kim will be discussing Health & Wellness. Following a short break, Ji-Youn will facilitate discussions to translate awareness into actionable steps.

Each session will allow for a maximum of 40 participants. To secure your spot, register today!!

Ji-Youn Kim (they/she) is a queer, relatively non-disabled Corean femme, immigrant, settler, and justice-oriented therapist. They aim to disrupt oppressive practices of the mental health industry and envision new ways of mental health care rooted in collective liberation. Her work is informed by Black & Indigenous feminist scholars, abolitionists, and organizers, and her own lived experiences as an immigrant, femme of colour, and Mad psychiatric survivor.
