Why Join the CLMC?
The CLMC is not just any competition; it's a unique chance for students from kindergarten through grade 12 to dive into the world of mathematics in a fun, challenging, and rewarding way. While the exam primarily focuses on the grade 7-11 math curriculum, it is open to all students, offering an exciting opportunity to showcase mathematical talents and prepare for the prestigious Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC).

Event Highlights:

• Date: Thursday, October 3rd, 2024
• Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Location: In-person at UNBC in the Bentley Centre
• Cost: Suggested donation is $12 CAD per exam for anyone wishing to be eligible for prizes. The cost for anyone wishing to write the exam for fun is $12. Cash ONLY, will be collected at the door!
• Format: Multiple-choice, written on paper
• Registration Deadline: September 26, 2024, by 4:00 pm PST (to be eligible for prizes)

Team Up or Go Head-to-Head!

This year, why not team up with your family or friends for a shared math adventure? Work together to solve challenging problems, or go head-to-head with your parents or friends to see who can score the highest! Please note that parents and non-students can join in the fun too, though they won't be eligible for prizes, but will still receive their marks.
