CTAAN-AGEWELL Research Presentation: The Development of a Digital Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment
Presentation Summary: Japan's aging rate (the percentage of the population aged 65 and over) will be 29.1% in 2023, one of the highest aging rates in the world. A Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) is the multidimensional diagnostic approach for older adults that aims to improve overall health. A remote CGA, facilitated by technological advancements, offers convenience and other potential advantages. The D-CGA@home project is an ongoing collaborative effort between Japan and Canada to develop an AI-based care plan through a digital home-based CGA platform. Here, we are presenting the progress of Japan's researchers involved in the project. Speakers: • Dr. Satoru Ebihara (Tohoku University) • Dr. Midori Miyagi (Tohoku University) • Xinze Wu (Tohoku University) • Uijin Park (Tohoku University)
