The UNBC Cumulative Impacts Research Consortium (CIRC) facilitated a community workshop at Northern Lights College in Fort Nelson on October 25, 2017. This workshop was free, open to the public, and was intended to provide an opportunity for people who live and work in the Northern Rockies to share stories and perspective about how natural resource development has positively and negatively impacted local community, environmental and health values. It was also an opportunity for the CIRC to get feedback on how our ongoing work can best support on the ground capacity to respond to issues related to cumulative impacts.
