On October 2-3, 2015, the CIRC held its launch event at the UNBC Conference Centre in Prince George. The intention of the launch event was to formally introduce CIRC to northern stakeholders and foster conversations on cumulative impacts research and practice. The event was designed to exchange knowledge on the cumulative environmental, health and community impacts of resource development from a variety of perspectives, and to solicit public feedback on the CIRC's future research and public engagement activities.
